Planning Stress Management
Remove yourself from all technology
Take a little technological timeout - put it all away and relax! Eliminate any stress related to your social media or calls and messages that need answering.
Organise your home - out with the old, in with the new
Sort out that cluttered cupboard in the passage that you’ve been avoiding eye contact with for such a long time.
Clear your mind while clearing out your cupboard and even that spare room filled with boxes and old things you don’t need.
Let's get musical
Sit down, relax and go through all your music, selecting all your favourites that would create the perfect atmosphere on your special day. Another nice thing to do would be to go through youtube and list any potential songs you’d like to use. Make an evening out of it - have a glass of wine with your future husband and have fun with it!
Spend some time with family or friends
Spending time with your loved ones would be very helpful for your mental health and stress levels. Go for a meal with your sibling or watch a movie with your mum, there’s so many things you can do while spending time with them and taking your mind off the wedding - they could even help a little with the planning to relieve some of your stress.
Go to an event of any kind
Attend an event with a group of friends and/family. You will have a great time living in that exact moment forgetting any future stresses you may have weighing you down.
Daydream about the big day
We don’t want you putting such a big life event out of your mind completely, we just want it to be a stress free experience So think about it - as often as you want to. Dream big, think about how your life is going to change for the better, have fun fantasizing about the details of the day you have been waiting for since you were a little girl.
Exercise
Everyone wants to look good on their wedding day, so why not join your local gym or start enjoying your surroundings by going for an evening walk? This will keep you toned and fit while releasing a lot of pent up stress and energy. Exercise can also be fun with your partner and is a great way for the two of you to spend some time together. Maybe even try something new like yoga!
Get Creative
Channeling your inner Picasso can be quite therapeutic, even if you are not that great at drawing – why not give it a go? If drawing isn’t your thing there are many other ways to get creative like knitting, painting, crafting…the possibilities are endless. This will definitely take your mind off of all the wedding stress.
Treat yo'self
One of the most relaxing things to do is to go for a massage. It is worth every cent and will cause for a deepened relaxation leaving you feeling ready for any tasks ahead.
Meditate
This one is great for all round well-being. It is important to focus on your mental health, not only when you are planning your wedding, but in general. Take some time out for you where you can quiet your mind.
Start a Journal
Writing down your thoughts and feelings throughout the whole process of planning your wedding can be a great tool to deal with stress. It is a great way to get out all the frustrations of life, and the best part is that no one ever has to see it.
Get some Furry Love
Animals are a great way to de-stress – take your beloved furry friend for a walk – if you don’t have one then see which animal shelters are in your area. There are so many animal friends that would love your attention.
Jewelled hair comb
Add a little something shiny to your outfit - why not a pretty little comb with different jewels on?
It’s subtle yet it makes a statement without a veil on.
The all-around crown
This is the perfect alternative if you are opting for a bigger, more dramatic look. It can either be glam or boho, depending on what style you choose relative to your wedding theme.
Flower circlet
Using a flower circlet is the perfect opportunity if you want to really stick to your natural theme and add some greenery from the forest herself. To make things extra sentimental - use something from the very forest you’re in!

Headbands
